Our Company for Investigation and Guidance On April 26, Jiang Hong, Deputy Director-General of Jiangsu Provincial Department of Science and Technology, together with persons-in-charge of the Regional Innovation Division, conducted an on-site inspection of Lishui High-Tech Zone. The investigation was accompanied by leading officials from Nanjing Municipal Bureau of Science and Technology and Lishui District, principal and responsible heads of Lishui District Bureau of Science and Technology, Lishui High-Tech Industry Investment Corporation, and the Science-and-Talent Bureau of Baima High-Tech Zone.
In the afternoon on the same day, Deputy Director-General Jiang and his inspection team paid an on-site visit to our enterprise. Ji Keju, our company’s executive leader, warmly received the group and reported on the enterprise’s years-long development progress, featured product portfolio and scientific-and-technological innovation achievements.
After learning about our company’s development history, business layout, technological breakthroughs and future development blueprint, the inspection team spoke highly of our innovation-led development strategy. The officials encouraged us to expand strengths and achieve greater progress through industry-university-research collaboration within the bionics-oriented sector.
Accompanied by our management, the inspection group toured our bionics exhibition hall. Displayed achievements covered fascinating biological prototypes, bionic adhesive materials, bionic micro-nano fabrication, intelligent bionic sensors and bionic robots. In-depth discussions between the inspection team and Ji Keju were carried out concerning the deployment of bionic-based products in aerospace, national-defence industries and medicine-engineering integration sectors.
The inspection team subsequently visited the enterprise-owned research-and-development laboratory. They inspected multi-energy-field bionic precision processing technologies including photolithography, laser machining, nanoimprinting, 3D-printing and electrochemical fabrication. The officials acquired detailed updates on the operation of the new-type research institute and its incubated enterprises, the construction of the key laboratory specializing in bionic research, and progress in the joint training of postgraduate talents under university-local government cooperation.
Deputy Director-General Jiang remarked that Jiangsu Province has attached great importance to the advancement of high-end innovative industries in recent years, especially innovation driven by national strategic demands. The Provincial Department of Science and Technology provides full-fledged support for the industrial translation of advanced university-developed technologies. It also fosters innovation platforms to underpin local economic growth and the layout of high-end industries.
