Nanjing Adhesion Technology Co., Ltd. was founded in December 2019 and is a National High-Tech Enterprise. Focusing on the R&D, production, and application of gecko-inspired adhesive materials, the company serves as an industry–university–research collaboration platform for the Jiangsu Provincial Key Laboratory of Bionic Functional Materials, a participating organization of the Jiangsu Digital Future Integrated Innovation Center, and a postgraduate training and internship base of Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics.

Guided by the needs of the aerospace and national defense sectors, the company is dedicated to interfacial manipulation technologies for the broader semiconductor industry. It has pioneered a full range of bioinspired friction- and adhesion-enhancing products that enable reliable, damage-free, and efficient handling of wafers, glass, and other substrates in harsh environments such as vacuum and extreme temperatures.

Technical Capabilities - R&D Center & Production Base

The company focuses on the R&D, production and application of bionic gecko-inspired adhesive materials. It serves as the industry-university-research platform of Jiangsu Provincial Key Laboratory of Bionic Functional Materials, a base of Jiangsu Digital Future Integrated Innovation Center, and a postgraduate training and internship base of Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics.

The project team pioneered the application of bionic adhesion technology for in-orbit exercise for astronauts on space stations. The developed bionic adhesive shoes have been verified through on-orbit missions of the Shenzhou-15, Shenzhou-16 and Shenzhou-17 manned spacecraft, solving the key problem of lower-limb mechanical loading for astronauts. The research results have been reported by CCTV, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Manned Space Network and other media, providing a vital innovative technology and equipment for astronaut weightlessness protection.

Focusing on general semiconductor surface manipulation, the company is equipped with advanced multi-field composite manufacturing technology, standardized clean workshops, as well as a sound intellectual property system and quality management system.

2025 ~ 2026

March 2026: Xuzhou JuLi New Materials Technology Co., Ltd. successfully passed the national high-tech enterprise certification for 2026

March 2026: The team led the formulation of the national standard Test Method for Adhesion Performance of Bionic Dry Adhesive Materials (GB/T47233-2026)

December 2025: Corporate image of Nanjing Adhesion Technology Co., Ltd. was broadcast on Jiangsu TV via the program Jiangsu Direct Express

November 2025: The team leader won the 2025 Outstanding Young Talent Award of Science and Technology from the Jiangsu Mechanical Engineering Society

October 2025: The National Natural Science Foundation of China project undertaken by the team received an Excellent rating in its final evaluation and was selected for poster presentation.

September 2025: The company participated in the 13th Semiconductor Equipment, Core Components & Materials Exhibition, empowering "China Chips" with bionic technology

July 2025: The company hosted the preliminary review meeting for 5 national bionic standards in 2025

June 2025: The company’s project "General Semiconductor Bionic Gecko Adhesion Technology" won the Special Award at the 8th Jiangsu Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition

May 2025: The company exhibited at the 2025 Weihai Bionics Congress, and its products were highly recognized by Academician Ruan Yongquan and other leaders

February 2025: Dr. Deng Kai, a returned overseas PhD of the company, was awarded the title of Jiangsu Dual Innovation Talent

April 2023: Zhejiang Fanli New Materials Technology Co., Ltd., the production base, was officially put into production in Shaoxing, Zhejiang

2021 ~ 2022

November 29, 2022: The jointly developed bioinspired adhesive shoes were carried aboard the Shenzhou-15 crewed spacecraft for an in-orbit mission.

November 2022: Established a production base for bionic friction/adhesion enhancement products (supported by the Yingcai Program of Shaoxing Famous Talent Township)

October 31, 2022: The bionic adhesive panel developed by the company was successfully used aboard the Mengtian laboratory module.

February 2022: The company obtained the ISO9001 Quality Management System Certification

November 2021: Approved as a 2021 Jiangsu "Digital Future" Integrated Innovation Center
